the next workshop will be at the top of the page, followed by future ones in date order.

 

 03/07/2008 Tree Pruning Demonstration 9am at the Senior Center

 There will be a tree pruning demonstration at the VGC Memorial Grove followed by

a tour of a member's garden.   

 

04/04/2008    Garden Tour  9am at senior Center

 We will tour two members' gardens 

 

5/02,03 and 04/2008  Vista Garden Club's 74th Standard Flower Show.

06/01/2007 Garden Tour 9am at senior Center

We will return to tour one member's garden to see the changes one year after the

great cold damage of 2007, and another member's garden to see what new topiaries 

have been created

 

Completed Workshops

09/07/2007  Garden Tours -9am at the Senior Center

We will tour a member's garden and a non-member's garden.  This was a great tour.

 We actually went to three gardens, two of members and one of an ex-member who has converted his gardens in to succulents.

 

10/05/2007  Nursery Tours -9am at the Senior Center

We will be given a tour of a modern wholesale flower company and tour a local nursery. 

 Plants will be available for purchase.  Carpool from Senior Center 9 a.m. 

 

11/02/2007  Scholarship Luncheon  See yearly Events

 

12/07/2007   Garden Gifts Workshop  9:30am at the Senior Center

 Continuing a Vista Garden Club tradition,  we will create dish gardens for gifts to a local senior care facility for those shut-in during the holidays. 

 

01/04/2008 Tour of members'  gardens   9am at the Senior Center

 We will tour two members' gardens.   Carpool from Senior Center 9 a.m.

 

02/01/2008  Propagation Round Table  9:30am at the Senior Center

 Members of the Vista Garden Club will present a propagation round table,

members may bring plants for propagation.
