Completed workshops will be moved to the bottom of the list. They will still be available to view but the next workshop will be at the top of the page, followed by future ones in date order.

After June 5, 2009 until the next years programs and workshops are scheduled the information here will be out of date. As soon as it is available the new schedule will be entered.

9/05/2008 Garden Tours -9am at the Senior Center.

Join Dan Cannou on a water-wise tour. We will visit a company that produces

hydroponic gardens and then see some of the problems of water-wise landscaping

at Vista Irrigation District. Carpool from the Senior Center 9:00 a.m.

10/03/2008 Nursery Tours -9am at the Senior Center.

We will have an Identification Tour of the Memorial Grove and San Diego County Native Plant Garden led by Dan Cannou. We will also discuss corrective pruning at the Grove.

12/05/2008 Garden Gifts Workshop 9:30am at the Senior Center.
Join in a VGC tradition of producing small living dish gardens to be donated to a local senior
care facility for those shut-in during the holidays. Bring cuttings of small-sized
succulents and clippers. Everything else will be provided.

01/02/2009 Propagation Round Table 9:30am at the Senior Center.
We will have a propagation round-table presented by several VGC members.
Bring whatever plant you want to learn to propagate. The members will give
presentations on various propagation methods and then we will propagate what
you've brought. Bring pots, plants and clippers. Soil provided.

02/06/2009 Garden tour at Palomar College 9am at the Senior Center.
Lynn Paine will lead a tour to the cactus and succulent garden at Palomar College.
