Gardening Specialists.
They are
happy to share their expertise. We have members who are experts on roses,
begonias, native plants, fruits and vegetables, tropical and subtropical
fruit and trees, and shrubs.
We meet
at noon
the first Friday of every month (except
May, July,
August and November), in the Gloria McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Dr.
Vista, CA. 92084. We are "dark" in July and August. May is our
Flower Show and November our Scholarship Luncheon; see
Yearly events
to read about these two
activities.
Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings and share in our fingertip luncheon.
There is no need to notify anyone, just come and introduce yourself;
guests are introduced at all meetings. Each month we have a program
addressing
some aspect of gardening.
Prior to the monthly meetings we have either a
workshop or a tour. Membership is open
to everyone and dues are a nominal $25.00 a year or $40.00 for a family. New Site
